Working with the sponsor and other partners, Academies Group has produced and obtained Ministerial approval for the formal Expression of Interest (EoI) which sets out the case for the Academy.

Following on is the next stage, Feasibility, which verifies the viability and case for the new Academy by delivering:

• Confirmation of the Education Vision
• Acceptable buidling designs and school operational plans in close consultation with sponsors, partners and advisors
• Creation of the legal entity which runs the Academy
• The Funding Agreement which is the binding legal contract between the sponsors and Academies Group

The PBS
Two versions of the PBS are available below. The 'March 2008' version applies to academy projects which are currently in feasibility or implementation stages, or will be delivered under the existing project management framework. The updated 'January 2010' version is currently just for information and it is intended that it will be used for all projects under the new framework.
