The original "Good Practice Guidelines for Learning Mentors" (below) was produced on behalf of Department by Anne Hayward in the early stages of Learning Mentor implementation. It has become the reference tool for schools and partnerships wishing to establish learning mentor provision, and is supported by a range of early examples of practice. The guide provides a useful and easily accessible starting point for Learning Mentor practice, and is based on extensive fieldwork between 1999 and 2001.
