Materials to support local authority and school-based CPD workshops and sessions. The materials could also be used for individual study or to support collaborative CPD involving groups of teachers or schools.

Phase 1 training pack

The training materials are intended for local authority (LA) teams who are training and supporting teachers and practitioners working with children at Phase 1 of Letters and Sounds. LA consultants and advisers could use it as a resource to inform the development of the CPD programme. The material should be adapted to suit local needs and different audiences and should be seen as one part of a programme of ongoing CPD.
