The ephemeral nature of speaking and listening makes it the most difficult area to assess and record, and you will find a further section devoted to that area in Unit 2, Teaching and assessing speaking and listening. This section is intended to help you to review practice and provision in your department so that you are well-placed to take further actions if necessary.
