Reviewing progress

Have a look at the video clip of English teachers from School A meeting to review dialogic teaching after a year of its introduction. What would you say are:

  • the main areas for development?

As in School A, progress in speaking and listening and its impact on pupils' learning and achievement will need to be reviewed in your department and adjustments made to future plans. This review needs to be based on secure, tangible evidence from monitoring and evaluation. You may like to consider what, when and how that development will be monitored and evaluated.
