Teacher Research Conference 2004

The Teacher Research Conference 2004 - Research informed classroom and school improvement took place on 19th March 2004 at the Birmingham NEC and was attended by over 400 people, most of them teachers and headteachers. The kind support of the Innovation Unit, the General Teaching Council for England and the Networked Learning Group helped ensure the conference was a huge success.

Downloadable research summaries

All the research summaries from the conference are now available online - please see our table of contents to find out which ones relate to your areas of interest.

All the workshops and exhibitions at the conference were led by teacher researchers, who reported on their own in-school research on topics ranging from assessment to thinking skills. The written summaries were commissioned specially for the conference by the National Teacher Research Panel, and were assessed against our Criteria for Research, which you can download from this site.
