Question 9
What next? Debriefing and reflection
Activity Four - Feedback
The National Teacher Research Panel has produced these guidelines to combine education research theory with practice (Activities One to Three). We would be most grateful for any feedback about these guidelines and, in particular, for feedback of the results of your research in Activities Two and Three. We will undertake an analysis of the results returned by schools and publish it on our website. We hope that this analysis will provoke further debate about effective teacher engagement in and with research through their use of the Teachers' Professional Learning Framework produced by the GTC. It should also give you general results to benchmark against your own results.
Please complete the form below (downloadable), attaching your results for Activities Two and Three.
Activity Two
If you have completed the questionnaire for Activity Two with your staff, please submit one copy with summarised total results and let us know how many respondents there were. If you undertook a focus group or peer interviews in answer to the hypothesis questions for Activity Two, then please summarise the answers to the questions and attach them to the form, including the number of respondents.
Activity Three
If you have completed Activity Three - questions a) to d) about CPD activities and how they may change practice - then please tell us what research tool you used to gain the answers, how many respondents and please summarise the results for us, then attach them to the form.
The NTRP is most grateful for your feedback and we hope to produce a summary of attitudes to CPD and research activities for you to compare with your own results and to feed back to policy makers.
