The Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT) will no longer be supported by the DCSF PAT helpdesk.

Please note that PAT is no longer being updated with school data. If you would like to view current school data please use the RAISEonline website

PAT to RAISEonline file conversion is now available

Software to enable the transfer of QLA and target setting data from the PAT into RAISEonline can now be downloaded.

If you have previously been a user of the DCSF's Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT) software for question-level analysis (QLA) and target setting, you will now be able to export the data used in your previous analyses out of the PAT for use in RAISEonline.

A final upgrade for the Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT) has now been released that will allow users to export QLA data from the PAT in a format that is compatible with RAISEonline.

The upgrade plus an accompanying tutorial is available for download here.

Please note that you must have the latest version of the PAT (4.2.5) already installed on your computer before installing this update.

Once installed, this upgrade provides you with an additional menu item: 'Export to RAISEonline'. Within this menu are options to export pupil attributes, user-defined fields, QLA data and teaching groups. You may export data for the whole school or select the NC year group and the academic year you wish to export, and PAT will save the data in RAISEonline-compatible files on your PC or network.

As with all data uploads, you will need to populate RAISEonline with the required cohorts using a CTF before any pupil-specific data can be brought into the system.

Once historic question-level analysis (QLA) data have been uploaded into RAISEonline, you can use the QLA trend report to see their results for a given subject strand or assessment focus over four years plotted against national figures (when available). These trends can give an insight into how the teaching of a specific subject area for a given year group is developing over time.

The Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT) is no longer being updated with school data. If you would like to view current school data please use the RAISEonline website. Please use the Contact Us link for assistance.

Updated 17th Mar 2008

The implementation of RAISEonline has meant that some existing functionality within PAT will now only be updated within RAISEonline with effect from 1st October 2007. RAISEonline contains your school results dating from 2004. It is important to note that you will not be able to transfer your own historical school pupil data from PAT at this stage.

QUESTION LEVEL ANALYSIS (QLA)
Update:- As from the 2008 Spring term, Question Level analysis (QLA) data will be available within RAISEonline.

Current 2007 data entry has been enabled and is available for use but the 2007 / 08 data entry facility will not be updated in PAT.

Impact:- To use the Question Level Analysis data for the 2007 / 2008 term you will need to log onto RAISEonline to obtain this. Visit RAISEonline for more information.

TARGET SETTING
Target Setting is no longer available within PAT. This has now migrated to the RAISEonline platform.

SCHOOL LEVEL ANALYSIS
School Level Analysis data will no longer be updated within PAT. All school level analysis is now available within RAISEonline. Key Stage 1-4 data deliverables are listed on the left of this page.

WHAT IS RAISEonline?
RAISEonline provides interactive analysis of school and pupil performance data. It replaces the Ofsted Performance and Assessment (PANDA) reports and DCSF's Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT). Unlike PAT, it comes with your pupils' details and results for KS1, 2,3 and 4 already in the system.
