The latest upgrade of PAT willl enable schools to import/enter and analyse question level results for KS1, KS2 and KS3 2007 tests.   This incorporates the QLA of the QCA Years 3, 4 and 5 optional tests in the previous release

The optional test  papers are the same as last year, however we have amended the grids within the tracker to match the SAT's analysis grids. The questions that have changed are as follows;

Year 3 Maths A 16 and 27

Year 3 Maths B 11,18, 22 and 26

Year 4 Maths A 7, 12, 19, 22

Year 4 Maths B 2, 5, 20

Years 5 Maths A 5, 14, 26, 27

Years 5 Maths B 17b, 26

All the above questions have two parts and this is now reflected in the tracker. We have also amended the Y3 reading test as there was an error with Q4 and 5, this has been corrected and they also show the correct marks for each question.

This version enables analysis of 2006 KS3 and KS4 results.  It also updates the calculation of KS2 VA results in the School Improvement report to reflect the published Achievement and Attainment Tables.

In the A&A Tables all pupils who took KS4 exams in 2006 are included in the publication files but any who 'have not reached the end of the Key Stage', ie are a year or more younger, are not included in the CVA calculation in the Tables.   In PAT all pupils are included in the CVA calculation.   A school can amend the pupil details to 'uncheck' the 'At end of KS4 in 2006' box.  This should then produce identical CVA scores to those published in the files.

The following links allows you to download pdf files containing the optional and statutory test papers.  You should save the files to PAT folder (usually to be found in your programme files).  After installing these files you will be able to click on a question reference within PAT and see the text of the question.
