eLearning Credits
What is it? Money set aside for schools to spend on education multimedia resources. How can it help? Provides teachers with opportunites to purchase from the 1000s of education multimedia resources listed on www.curriculumonline.gov.uk.

ICT Self-assessment Matrix
What is it? An online tool, developed by NCSL and Becta, which facilitates self-evaluation and action planning. There are exemplars available that place the statements into helpful scenarios and context. How can it help? As you complete the matrix, an action plan, based on your results, is produced. This action plan contains helpful support and guidance.
Leadership Team Toolkit What is it? A toolkit that provides a range of practical tools that support leadership teams in the essential task of leading the use of ICT across the curriculum. This is part of the Primary National Strategy's development work on improving the quality of learning and teaching through the effective use of ICT. How can it help? Help school leadership teams develop and communicate a vision for ICT, plan implementation strategies and evaluate current provision and usage for ICT in their school.
Naacemark
What is it? An award developed by Naace, in association with Becta, that recognises a school's success in developing and implementing a strategic approach to ICT. How can it help? Offers a framework for using ICT to enhance teaching and learning and provides opportunities for a school community to develop ICT capability.
Primary Languages Training Zone What is it? An online resource to support leaders, teachers and trainers to implement the entitlement for every child to learn a new language from the age of 7 by 2010 How can it help? Provides and on-line toolkit to help with development of primary languages through the provision of audio, video, think pieces and resources. A user guide (PDF 400KB) to the primaryLanguage site is also available to download.
Self Review Framework
What is it? A 'route map' or programme which enables schools to identify where they are on the road to successfully using ICT within their school. Developed by Becta in conjunction with key partners including the National Strategies, NCSL (National College for School Leadership) and Ofsted. How can it help? Shows schools where they are on the road to becoming an 'e-confident' school, and the practical steps they can take to progress further.
SLICT
What is it? A professional leadership development programme, designed by headteachers for headteachers, that works with headteachers to review their leadership and the possibilities that ICT can bring to extend and enhance learning and teaching in school How can it help? Provides an opportunity to work with up to 40 headteachers to consider key strategic issues, evaluate solutions and unlock the potential of ICT.
Specialist Schools and Academies Trust What is it? The lead body for the Government's specialist school programme. How can it help? Link with a school in your area to share best practice in ICT
Technical Support
What is it? Several projects operating in the following areas: - Technical Support Advisory Service (TSAS). - Skills, Recruitment and Training. - The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) study How can it help? Provides setting-up information, competencies and a host of case studies describing how other schools manage technical support.
