National Whiteboard Network
The National Whiteboard Network (NWN)website offers support and guidance to teachers and practitioners on the effective use of interactive whiteboards. Visit the website at www.nwnet.org.uk.
Home page: access to latest NWN training materials and direct links to new materials on the NWN website.
Literacy and mathematics: resources and guidance on how ICT can be used to enhance learning and teaching in literacy and mathematics across key stages 1 and 2 and the foundation stage.
ICT across the curriculum: materials to illustrate how ICT can be used effectively to support interactive whole class teaching across the curriculum.
Review and implement: supports school Leadership Teams in:
- reviewing existing practice and evaluating the progress made in embedding the use of ICT in learning and teaching
- exploring how different implementation strategies can be applied to meet the needs of their school.
Software and guidance: access to the latest Interactive Teaching Programs, tutorials and basic technical guidance on using interactive whiteboards with a range of multimedia and software.
Forum: discuss and share ideas and experiences.
