Special Educational Needs
Effective schools and LAs ensure that parents of children with special educational needs have confidence in the systems supporting the identification, assessment and additional provision made available for their child. High quality, inclusive teaching and learning experiences are the critical success factors for all children. For a few children, with the most severe and complex needs, additional intervention may be required to supplement the quality first teaching.
