Materials to support school improvement
A range of materials have been developed to support the programme. These provide background information, examples of effective practice and other useful tools. These materials focus on six non-negotiable elements of the Intensifying Support Programme (ISP). These have been identified as being significant elements for effective, supported school improvement:
- The School Improvement Cycle
- Raising Attainment Plan (RAP)
- Tracking
- Pupil Progress Meetings (PPMs)
- Explicit focus on learning and teaching
- Whole school systematic CPD
