PSLN News: Spring 2006
There are now over 1,400 Primary National Strategy Learning Networks. This termly newsletter provides networks with information about opportunities, resources, events and available support.
The recently published white paper recognises the importance of collaborative working as a means of raising standards. Primary National Strategy Learning Networks, Education Improvement Partnerships and the Every Child Matters agenda all provide a framework for schools and others to work together.
The Primary National Strategy Learning Networks have begun with a clear focus on improving the learning and teaching in network schools, and a desire to make collaborative learning part of their culture. The majority of local authoritiesare facilitating events to enable networks to meet together, to share best practice and to problem solve.
