What is it?
This CDROM provides resources for school-based professional development. The aims of the materials are:
- to increase understanding of dyslexia and its implications for teaching and learning;
- to develop the rnage of strategies used in school to enable dyslexic learners to succeed.
There are four sessions on which you can draw: Session 1: Access strategies 75 minutes Session 2: Teaching styles and approaches 75 minutes Session 3: Literacy 90 minutes Session 4: Mathematics 90 minutes
Each session contains notes for the presenter, PowerPoint slides and supporting materials (handouts and audio/video clips). The CDROM also provides a library of additional information and classroom resources.
