SEN/LDD Inclusion Network meetings - November 2007
What is it?
The SEN/LDD Inclusion Networks are regional meetings for local authority (LA) officers. They provide:
- National and regional updates on the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) and the National Strategies developments.
- Opportunities for LAs to reflect on the implications for development and implementation.
- A forum for officers to network and share policy and practice.
Invitations are usually sent via the local authority SEN/Inclusion strategic lead and/or the School Improvement strategic lead. The invitation is usually extended to delegated LA officers and advisers who may include:
- The Principal Educational Psychologist
- The Lead Adviser for SEN / LDD
- The Head of SEN Support Services
- School Improvement officers/advisers linked to SEN/LDD
