What is it?

The National Strategies represents one of the most ambitious change management programmes in education. To date, it has had a significant impact on standards in our schools. We now need to help schools accelerate the pace of progress in raising standards and help them to achieve their own and the Government’s aspirations for all children and young people.

The 5-Year Strategic Plan and 2006/07 Annual Plan summaries contain details of what we are further seeking to achieve and how we envisage achieving it, not only this year but also over the next few years. Please note that the summaries are only available to download.
