What is it?

Seven Local Authorities selected families of schools to engage in action research to explore what strengthens transfers and transitions and makes an impact on standards. They reflected a broad range of contexts and their projects identified a variety of approaches to accelerating progress across transfer between first to middle and primary to secondary schools.

The evaluation report outlines the work done by participating LAs and families of schools and identifies key messages, significant elements of practice and implications for LAs and schools.
