What is it?

This management guide is intended to help headteachers and senior leaders in middle schools to manage the National Literacy, Numeracy and Key Stage 3 Strategies in ways that are practical and coherent. It brings together in one place guidance issued separately by the three Strategies. It focuses mainly on English and mathematics, since support for these areas of the curriculum is what the Strategies have in common.
