Framework for teaching mathematics

Yearly teaching programmes, shown below, are taken from the relevant section of the Framework for teaching mathematics: Reception to Year 6. The numbers, in brackets, are page references to the relevant supplement of examples in the Framework which you can download by clicking on an icon in the 'Downloads' box on the left of this page.
Organising and using data (p.90-93)
- Solve a given problem by organising and interpreting numerical data in simple lists, tables and graphs, for example:
simple frequency tables; pictograms - symbol representing two units; bar charts - intervals labelled in ones then twos; Venn and Carroll diagrams (one criterion). (p.91.93)
