What is it?
The materials are designed to help teachers ensure that Year 5 and 6 children progress from level 3 to 4 by the end of Key Stage 2.
Increasing numbers of children are achieving level 4, but some children still meet barriers in their learning that slow or block their progress. The materials on the CD provide teaching resources and ideas that teachers use when planning additional support for those children.
This CD is the first of similarly focused intervention materials that are to be developed for mathematics. Teachers will find these materials useful when planning their teaching to help children working around the level 3 to 4 border make good progress.
The CD and booklet are available to order, quoting the reference number 00695-2007PCK-EN. The booklet is available for download below.
