Rivers and people

As part of project work in geography, the class read about rivers. They answered questions about the ways in which people in different countries use river water.

Assessment summary

Jason chooses six obvious points of information and expresses these briefly (AF2 L3). He understands how to find information that is broadly relevant to the task but his responses, all expressed as what 'we' do, are not supported by references to the text that would link river use to specific locations. Similarly, the inference he makes about the importance of water for survival lacks supporting evidence (AF3 L3).
