This CPD theme is aimed specifically at schools that wish to address the teaching of writing and in particular, guided writing across the school. It is designed to allow the tailoring of the materials to cover Year 1, 3 and 5 or to combine these age ranges and cover writing across the primary age range.

It is also supported by additional video material exemplifying the effective teaching of writing in those years. There is an accompanying booklet which outlines key approaches and contains samples of children's writing linked to the video exemplars.
