Introduction

The tool is designed to support your use of the Primary Framework website. It enables you to plan electronically drawing on the framework materials, allowing you to manipulate the Primary Framework content to personalise the learning and teaching in your classroom.

The Interactive Planning Tool will support your planning process by allowing you to select content from the Primary Framework, organise and edit this content to construct a literacy or mathematics plan. This plan can then be saved and printed.

Please ensure you have the latest version of the IPT software installed on your computer.

What you will need

To use this tool you will need the following:

• the planning tool loaded on your PC or Apple Mac;
• your own planning template or one of the planning templates available on the Planning templates page on the website;
• an Internet connection or the second Primary Framework DVD.
