The Strategy has published a wide range of materials that focus on the teaching and learning of mathematics. Access to these materials may be difficult for some teachers, particularly those relatively new to the profession. A number of the earlier publications are no longer in print; others are in a form that is no longer appropriate as they relate to the objectives in the 1999 Framework; some were not intended to be put on a website. This section of the library will house documents that, over time, are repurposed. Currently, the activities from the 2000 publication Mathematical Challenges for able pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2 have been referenced to the planning units within the five blocks in the corresponding year group to identify where they might be incorporated into planning.
