This section contains mixed-age objective planners that draw together the objectives for each unit within the five blocks of the Framework.
The planners are organised to draw together objectives from Years 2 to 4 and from Years 3 to 6 to support mixed-age planning. In each document, objectives are grouped together by strand to show the progression in mathematics across year groups.
The organisation of objectives within the mixed-age planners follows closely the organisation within the single-age blocks and units structure of the Framework.
Occasionally objectives have been moved between units to support more coherent mixed-age planning, for example, ensuring that where appropriate the whole class could focus upon a similar concept in number or shape and space. These changes are indicated within the documents using the following key:
- Italic text signifies objectives which do not appear in the single-age version of this unit but have been added to create a coherent mixed-age unit.
- Smaller font indicates objectives which do appear in the single-age version of this unit, but which are addressed elsewhere within the mixed-age units.
- Bold font indicates 'End-of-year' objectives.
The objective planners can be downloaded individually for each block, or as a zip file containing all five blocks for Years 2 to 4 or Years 3 to 6.
