The Primary Framework has been designed to support teachers and schools to deliver high quality learning and teaching for all children. It contains detailed guidance and materials to support literacy and mathematics in primary schools and settings.
CPD area to support implementation of the Primary Framework
This area of the site has been updated to provide a range of materials to support in-school CPD, which is a key element in the national CPD programme: Leading improvement through the Primary Framework.
The materials are organised into three main sections to help you access the relevant resources and guidance. The sections are:
- Senior leadership team (SLT)
- Literacy
- Mathematics.
Assessment
The new Assessment area contains useful information aimed at teachers to help when assessing the standards of students' work.
It covers a range of topics including 'Assessment for learning', 'Assessing pupils' progress' and 'Standards files'.
