Themes are chosen in consultation with practitioners and their representative groups such as the National Teacher Research Panel and are intended to provide practical ideas for teachers, governors etc in response to particular concerns in raisining standards e.g. managing behaviour, organising the classroom for best learning and encouraging pupil voice. If you have a suggestion for a new theme, or an idea for new content under an existing theme, please Contact TRIPS.

In terms of source material for the digests - we look for studies in research journals because publication there means studies have already been scrutinised for academic rigour. We also appraise the studies to ensure that they provide strong evidence directly relevant to practice in schools and we check that the authors of the original study believe that the digest presents a faithful picture of their work.
