In future dance units pupils will study selected dance works, increase their knowledge of dance as an art form and take more responsibility for developing their own technique. They will learn how to organise a show and perform in it. They will prepare themselves and others physically and technically. In other intermediate units in PE pupils are encouraged to understand the importance of regular practice, and to know their own strengths and weaknesses and understand the skills required to work with others in a team or a group.
