In this unit, pupils will focus on preparing for tournaments, competitions and festivals that they will organise and compete in. They will work in groups, taking on a range of roles and responsibilities, to help each other to prepare and improve as a team.
In games activities, pupils select and apply their skills so that they can carry out tactics with the intention of outwitting their opponent(s). In invasion games, the main objective is for players to invade their opponent's territory to outwit them so that they can score goals or points.
This unit is expected to take 12-18 hours.
