Objectives

Section 1: Which leisure facilities should be provided for the local community? (1)
Children should learn:
  • about different leisure pursuits and how these involve the use of public facilities within the local community

  • about difficult choices that have to be faced when spending taxpayers' money on leisure facilities

  • that providing leisure facilities can involve addressing conflicts of interest among the general public
