It may also have links with one of the British history studies, such as Units 6A, B, C 'Why have people invaded and settled in Britain in the past?'; Unit 8 'What were the differences between the lives of rich and poor people in Tudor times?'; Unit 12 'How did life change in our locality in Victorian times?'; Unit 13 'How has life in Britain changed since 1948?'; and in this way provide a local dimension to a study of national events.
