This unit is the first on building models using spreadsheets and assumes that pupils will be familiar with cell references, content types and simple formulae, although time is made available to revise this knowledge. It links with
unit 5D 'Introduction to spreadsheets' and
unit 6B 'Spreadsheet modelling' in the key stage 2 scheme of work.
