- geology,
eg impermeable rock, permeable rock
Writing - through the activities pupils could:
- organise content into a whole piece, with the relationship between points/paragraphs clearly signalled,
eg therefore, nevertheless
- use correctly full stops, commas, brackets, semicolons, dashes
- understand the effect of different aspects of formality,
eg passive verbs, third person, abstract nouns
