About this unit

In this unit pupils learn to identify words which refer to future events. They learn to talk and write about what is going to happen in the future.

New language content:

  • the immediate future (aller + infinitive)
  • modal verbs (pouvoir; devoir; vouloir)

New contexts:

  • making and discussing arrangements (social and transactional)
  • negotiating and stating future plans and intentions

Alternative contexts: describing what you intend to do about town or at home; describing spare time activities.

This unit is expected to take 12-15 hours.
