eg chemical weathering, abrasion, sedimentation
- words and phrases for timescales over which change occurs,
eg millions of years, millennia
- names for specific rocks,
eg granite, limestone, sandstone
- words and phrases relating to geological features,
eg sedimentary layers, porosity
- words and phrases relating to scientific enquiry,
eg time-lapse photography, sequence of events
