Through the activities in this unit pupils will be able to understand, use and spell correctly:

  • words with similar but distinct meanings, eg mass, weight, gravitational attraction, orbit, revolve
  • words relating to planetary motion, eg satellite

Through the activities pupils could:

  • understand the effect of different aspects of formality (passive verbs, third person, abstract nouns)
