Schools Recruitment Service gains momentum
The new Schools Recruitment Service is gathering a wave of interest from the sector, with over 200 schools, local authorities and other organisations already making enquiries and expressing interest in the new system.
Amid this growing interest, the service has now begun exhibiting at major education events, enabling educationalists all over England to gain first hand information about the service.
Their presence at this year's National Children and Adult Services conference will be followed by an appearance at the National Bursars' Association Annual Conference (Nov 27-28) and BETT Show (January 14-17).
Due to launch in early 2009, the service is designed to provide local authorities and their schools with a more efficient, standardised application system, automation of routine administrative processes, better intelligence around candidate behaviour and attraction, and informed media performance.
Applicants will benefit from a more user-friendly, standardised system enabling easy download, completion and return of all forms.
Forthcoming events are as follows:
Nov 27-28, 2008
National Bursars' Association Annual Conference
Hinckley Island Hotel, Hinckley, Leicestershire
Jan 14-17, 2009
BETT Show
London Olympia
Information and dates of further events will be released shortly.
