Ensuring pupil progress

To ensure pupil progress, teachers need to devise a series of activities that encourage pupils to move from one level to the next. These samples demonstrate how teachers may help pupils make progress. They consist of:

  • typical activities which will help move pupils from one level to the next
  • key questions to help prompt a dialogue to check progress
  • common misconceptions that illustrate areas in which many pupils will require additional support.
