The revised objectives do not make your existing planning redundant. Unless there are other factors which suggest the need for a thorough revision of the scheme of work, the best approach will be to use the new Mathematics learning objectives as you gradually work through the curriculum map for a year group or the critical units within a strand of the curriculum.
Within each strand of the curriculum it is now possible to read across the objectives from one year to the next; reading objectives to the left and right of a specific column makes progression clearer. In order to make this way of presenting objectives helpful, revisions have included:

The Key Stage 3 mathematics programme of study includes new attainment targets and this has resulted in some small changes to objectives. To ensure that you address the new attainment targets, you may wish to use the Assessment criteria available as an option in this Framework within each strand of the objectives.
