Mathematics subject leader development folder - Autumn 2005

In first session of this meeting Subject Leaders were presented with a mental mathematics activity as an example of a sense-making activity. The second session explored tracking through teaching and learning using on-going teacher assessment. Additional material of interest may be found in Tracking for success in mathematics and Assessing pupils’ progress in mathematics at Key Stage 3.
