Mathematics subject leader development folder - Summer 2007

The summer term 2007 meeting was devoted to the launch of the Key Stage 4 Planning toolkit for mathematics. The meeting aimed to help subject leaders become familiar with the planning toolkit and to understand how the various components could be used to enhance aspects of their Key Stage 4 schemes of work.

The toolkit comprises an extensive collection of resources collected into folders on a CD-ROM. The accompanying handbook introduces the toolkit through a sequence of 'bite-sized' tasks addressing the heart of the planning process. This toolkit disk is now part of the Secondary Mathematics Planning Toolkit summer 2008, which can be obtained from your local authority mathematics consultants.  For more details see the description of the summer 2008 SLDM
