Transition activities

Introduction

Iain Peel, Key Stage 3 Strategy Manager for Doncaster LEA, describes a range of activities taking place in support of the local focus on improving transition between Key Stages 2 and 3.

This case study details the outcomes of an LEA transition training session organised for all secondary schools in the authority. The purpose of the session was to identify examples of good practice in relation to effective transition within Doncaster LEA and elsewhere.
