About the school
The Hayling School is a small comprehensive, non-selective school of about 700 pupils serving the community on Hayling Island. Levels of attainment at Key Stage 3 improved slightly over the last two years and were close to the national average. The school was chosen to receive consultant support for the introduction of the Key Stage 3 National Strategy.
