Interactive assessment methods

What we did

Interactive assessment methods have been documented to be transferable across all arts and PE subjects. We have developed methods to encourage pupil-led learning and give pupils more control of the feedback and targeting processes.

An example of our assessment menu is available to download.

The planning menu attached was produced for use by Alderbrook School and is provided for exemplification purposes only and will not be suitable for unadapted use by other schools.

Audit, planning and development

We completed a subject audit and areas for development were highlighted. A menu of assessment methods was devised and are placed at the front of the schemes of work for teachers to use as appropriate in short-term planning. A short-term planning sheet allows space for planning which method might be appropriate in any lesson.
