Cross-curricular approach to literacy

How the Key Stage 3 National Pilot links into our school's own priorities

Kidbrooke School is a community-based school with Special Arts College status in Greenwich in southeast London, there are just over 1,000 pupils on roll. Improving literacy standards was a key focus for us and therefore the Key Stage 3 Pilot was a logical step. We had already been looking at teaching and learning in the school for a number of years.
