Planning a revision day

The Northicote School is an 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive with 831 pupils on roll. The current attainment of pupils when they enter Year 7 is well below the national average. There are high levels of social disadvantage in the area from which the pupils are drawn.

The mathematics department has a newly appointed head of department and relatively stable staffing. The Key Stage 3 mathematics consultant worked with the department in the school.
