London Borough of Hounslow is a borough that has the EiC strand, with a well established G + T perspective running throughout all schools.

The aim of the day was to work in collaboration with the G+T strand of EiC to run an acceleration workshop for Year 8 pupils in all secondary schools in the borough.The day was planned to include appropriate aspects of the strategy and to model ways to challenge gifted students within the science curriculum.

Timing
2 days
Each school could opt into one of the two days on which the workshop ran, and the attendance was:

Total number of schools = 12
6 x schools each day
5 x students per school
1 x teacher per school
30 x students per day
5 x teachers per day
