Teaching Shakespeare to able pupils

Lessons to provide challenge for pupils working towards Level 7 in reading Shakespeare

The resources in this section are designed to prepare pupils for meeting the criteria for achieving a Band 5 or 6 mark in the Shakespeare Paper. It is assumed that an introduction, suitable for pupils working at various attainment levels, would be given to cover an understanding of social and historical context prior to the sequence. It would also be appropriate for timed practice tests to be given following the sequence.

The resources are also provided as notebook files for use on some interactive whiteboards.
