Teaching Shakespeare to pupils working from P levels to Level 4 in KS3 and P levels to G grade at GCSE in KS4
Pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 have an entitlement to engage with Shakespeare as required by Programmes of Study. This guidance will help you to create lessons that allow pupils to explore the four areas of study in ways that meet their complex learning needs as well as offering schemes of work for Macbeth, The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet. All the activities have been taught to pupils in a special school setting, but can be adapted for use with pupils with SEN in mainstream settings.
